About Us

St. Mary's is a welcoming and friendly local church, open to those of all ages and backgrounds. Our congregation come from a wide variety of church backgrounds, ages, nationalities and cultures, with numbers of young families. Our main Sunday services are Eucharistic (Holy Communion) but within an informal feel. Christian worship has taken place at St Mary's for over 800 years, although the building has evolved greatly over the centuries, and today the interior is warm, with comfortable chairs, screens containing all the words for services, disabled access, kitchen and toilet facilities, and a play area for children. Although we're a fairly small church (c.50 most Sundays) everybody is friendly and we encourage all those who come regularly to get involved. We'd love you to join us whenever you can!
