Harvest Thanksgiving Service

Occurring
Sunday 06 October 2024 Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue
St Martin
Address
Mortimer Road Kensal Rise London, NW10 5SN, United Kingdom

A harvest service is an opportunity to offer to God the contribution we make in bringing food to the table; to give thanks and pray for others in the chain upon whom we are dependent; and above all to praise God who starts off each chain by creating the sun’s radiance and giving life to all living things.
If you would like to bring some produce to the service that morning then please do so. We will be donating the produce given to The Marylebone Project, a safe and secure community run by the Church Army, where homeless women are helped and supported to make informed choices about their lives, develop self-esteem and work toward positive resettlement.
The kind of produce they are looking for and the things that usually run out first are: tinned meats, tinned fish, soup, rice, pasta, cook-in-sauces, tinned vegetables (not baked beans or spaghetti) and bathroom necessities shampoo, shower gels and deodorants. But they are also happy to receive, herbs & spices, long life milk, coffee, tea, sugar, hot chocolate, fruit squash, biscuits, custard, tinned fruit , and other bathroom products such as flannels, soaps, towels, razors, shower gels and shampoos. Please bring it with you on that Sunday morning.
They are always extremely grateful for whatever you can bring. Thank you!
