About Us

What We Believe We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is love (1 John 4:8), and God's love is unconditional.

We praise God the Father:
God created the universe and keeps it in being. He has made us his sons and daughters to share his joy and care for his world and each other.

We proclaim Jesus Christ, God the Son:
Jesus was born of Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. He became one of us, sharing our life and our death. He made known to us God's forgiveness, love and compassion.

We trust God the Holy Spirit:
The Spirit unites us to Christ and gives life to the Church. The Spirit brings us to repentance and assures us of forgiveness. The Spirit guides us in understanding the Bible, renews us in the sacraments and calls us to serve God in the world.

The Church is built on prayer and the blood of Jesus, and on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. The Church is visible and invisible, fully human and fully divine; home to people of every nation, race and language, united in one faith and love, committed to each other for the worship of God, the preaching of the Word, administering Baptism and the Lord's Supper, pastoral care, discipline, and evangelism.

Worship
Our worship is open and inclusive of all, celebrating God's saving love expressed through Jesus in relevant, collaborative and inspirational ways. We do this by:

· Providing a rich blend of words and music that embraces and reflects our diverse community.

· Offering worship that is encouraging and challenging.

· Creating an atmosphere which enables everyone to express worship in ways which are meaningful to them.

· Helping everyone discern and develop their gifts and talents within worship and the community.

· Offering wholeness through prayer and a healing ministry.

Nurture
We offer opportunities for everyone to grow and learn as Christians within a supportive and accepting environment.

Pastoral Care
We are a loving church family where everyone is welcomed, loved, cared for and supported by each other.

Service
We express God's love by serving the community and the world, challenging injustice and being responsible stewards of God's creation. We actively promote awareness of injustice and helping everyone to respond appropriately.
