We will also be holding a one minute silence and lighting a candle in remembrance of the pets and their humans who have passed.

All dogs large or small on leads (not extension) and supervised and handled by adults please. All larger animals under the supervision of adults; horses and ponies to be bridled, alpacas etc with a halter outside the church. All small furries, cats and birds in animal carriers. Nervous animals may prefer to stay at home and we can bless the relationship between the owner and their pet from a photograph. Fishy and reptilian pets need to be in containers with lids on, spiders and snakes too. Please keep all your pets in the pews and not in the aisles. Our service will be shorter than normal to avoid any stress to the animals attending.

What sort of Church will you find in Hornsey Parish?

Hornsey Parish Church is part of the Church of England in the Edmonton Area of the Diocese of London, which in turn is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We are a diverse and vibrant church with a congregation representative of the varied community that Hornsey is: young and older; married, single and partnered, straight and gay; British and international. The style of our worship is focused upon the Eucharist. We see our liturgical life as very important: not fussy and celebrated with attention and care. There is something for everyone at Hornsey Parish Church and we hope that can include you too.

Please come and see us – you will be very welcome!

Fr Bruce Batstone
