About Us
St. Paul's is a modern building, built in the 1970s, which replaced an older Victorian 'Commissioners Gothic' building of 100 years earlier. Above the church building are Metropolitan Housing Association flats.
The worship at St. Paul's has always been within the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England. We are a welcoming and vibrant community of Christians, committed to proclaiming the Good News of God's Kingdom in Tottenham. We are here to serve all people who live in our parish and we strive to love our community, not only through our worship and prayer life but also in practical ways.
St Paul's Church community believe in the sacraments of the Church and one of the church's sacraments, the Holy Communion, is celebrated 5 times a week in our Church. All are welcome! We are also open for prayer and we have many unannounced visitors through our doors weekly from the local community seeking spiritual and practical help. If you would like to see the Vicar, please give him a call on the number listed on this page.
Children and Young People are at the heart of our ministry and as such we have weekly Sunday school and a Youth Service once a month. We also have a number of young people who serve at the altar and have been doing so for many years. We are currently seeking to further develop our youth ministry at St Paul's. We also have strong links with the Schools. Weekly assembly is delivered in school and each week. We also have classes visiting St Paul's Church weekly.
St Paul's Church is a very diverse community of people, who help to enrich our community with their individual culture. St Paul's people love to celebrate so you will not be short of fun here.
