'Blue Christmas' Service

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Cuthbert's, Wolves Lane
Address
St Cuthbert's, Wolves Lane, Wolves Lane Wood Green, N22 5JD, United Kingdom

Christmas services often have an upbeat festive mood that doesn't engage with some of the feelings of loss and sadness that this time of year can bring. We'll share a short service bringing together some more reflective and mournful music, readings and a talk and time of quiet. We'll both expresses sadness that the world is not as it should be, and explore how we Jesus offered hope as the light of the world, who came into the darkness, and whom the darkness hasn't overcome.

We are a group of people enjoying getting to know Jesus better, and helping others to do the same. The best way to find out more is to come and see what's going on on a Sunday, or to have a look at the website. www.stcuthbertschurch.org.uk

*** We continue to do our best to meet in ways that are responsible in line with Covid guidance, and to support local people.  Our regular services include an area where masks and social distancing are required.  In addition, although it is second best to gathering in the building, we are  broadcasting our gatherings on our youtube channel to serve those who are unable to join us in person. ***
