Come and join us on this important Holy Day for all Christians when we remember with sorrow our fall from grace, and the times we hurt others and lack charity. During the service, we will receive the sign of the cross on our foreheads with ash made from last year's Palm Crosses in recognition of this, and in the humble knowledge of God's forgiveness and grace in providing us with a new start. The service is a fitting start to our Lenten observances, helping us to reflect on the past and to resolve to make the future bright and wholesome.

St Michael and All Angels

St Michaels is a community that is welcoming and accepting of all - a large, vibrant, very family friendly congregation who’s strapline is Worship, Friendship, Fun! Come and see for yourself.....

Although we have a more pre-Covid look to our worship here at St Michaels, please be respectful of those who might wish to continue to take a more distanced approach to people or situations. Face coverings are not mandatory but you may still wish to wear one.

We look forward to seeing you!

Safeguarding

The parish of St Michael Gordon Hill is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
