A very special day in the life of this country for young and old - we celebrate the Eucharist during which wreaths are presented by all our Parish groups, and then, as 11am approaches, we focus our thoughts on those who have given their lives in all conflicts, and enter the full ceremonies associated with Remembrance Sunday. Following the two minutes silence, the Parish wreath will be laid at the War Memorial, and we shall process out into the gardens, where, led by the Vicar on behalf of the parish, we will plant poppy crosses in the Memorial garden underneath the East Windows in tribute to the fallen. Do join us for this solemn, but very fulfilling act of national unity.

St Michael and All Angels

St Michaels is a community that is welcoming and accepting of all - a large, vibrant, very family friendly congregation who’s strapline is Worship, Friendship, Fun! Come and see for yourself.....

Although we have a more pre-Covid look to our worship here at St Michaels, please be respectful of those who might wish to continue to take a more distanced approach to people or situations. Face coverings are not mandatory but you may still wish to wear one.

We look forward to seeing you!

Safeguarding

The parish of St Michael Gordon Hill is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
