Eucharist (BCP) & Coffee
A short said Eucharist following the Book of Common Prayer, without hymns or sermon (except on very special occasions) - after which the congregation usually adjourns to the local coffee shop for a time of fellowship and chat

Our main Worship of the week. A full, modern language sung Eucharist, with hymns and sermon. An active Junior Church (called 'Sunday Clubs' and which are age-appropriate) goes out from the service after the Collect into the halls for their own teaching and activities - rejoining the adults at the moment of Communion. On festivals this service takes the form of an all-age Eucharist, when often our Brownie and Guide Units parade. After the service we meet in the hall for coffee, tea, juice and biscuits and a time of fellowship and catching up with each other.

This service is an oasis of peace and calm at the end of the day. It takes a number of different forms but most regularly using the ancient and beautiful words of the Book of Common Prayer, geared to the season and to the moment.

This simple service is a most moving one. We rejoice as our children act out the story of the Nativity. A collection is taken for the work of the Children's Society. The children are given a Christingle in return which is symbolic of Christ's presence in the world. The lighted Christingles in the darkness of the church is most poignant, and turns our thoughts towards the preciousness of Christmas.

Come and join us at 'The Wonder' Public House on the corner of Batley Road, and next to St Michaels Green, for a time of Carol Singing led by our local Brass Band. An evening of joy and happiness as we prepare to celebrate Christmas

This ever popular service retells the Christmas Story through a series of readings and familiar Christmas Carols. There is a fresh look at some of the Christmas events through poetry, our Guiding Units are 'on parade', the children lead our prayers and there is much rejoicing as we lead up to our celebration of Christmas.

Come and join us at 'The Cricketers' Public House on Chase Side, closed to Chase Green, for a time of Carol Singing led by our local Brass Band. An evening of joy and happiness as we prepare to celebrate Christmas

We welcome everyone to join us for this beautiful service as we join together to celebrate the moment of Christ's birth with awe and wonder and great rejoicing.

In an informal style, this service is particularly appropriate for children (whom we invite to bring one of their presents along to show us), as we explore together the joy of the birth of Christ in the stable at Bethlehem. And there just might be chocolates for everyone too!
