About Us

Welcome to St Peter's Church, Lower Edmonton..  We are an open, friendly and inclusive congregation, worshipping in the Anglo-Catholic tradition to the all-encompassing love of God through Jesus Christ.

The celebration of the Holy Eucharist lies at the heart of our spirituality.   Our main service is Sunday 9.30am at which we follow each liturgical season and mark the festivals of the Church calendar.    At the end of our service, those celebrating birthdays or other significant events are invited forward to receive a blessing and the children in Sunday Club offer a brief presentation of their work.   After the service we enjoy a time of tea/coffee and fellowship, often accompanied by birthday cake or other refreshments.

We support Christian Aid, The Children's Society, Macmillan and the Leprosy Mission.   Locally we have Lent and Advent food bank collections and the church building is often used for community meetings.    With open eyes and hearts it is our hope to serve well those around us and embody the words of Jesus Christ on the night before he died.  “love one another as I have loved you”.
