About Us
All Saints is a Church and a community committed to bringing the living faith of Jesus Christ to all who cross its threshold or meet its people.
Our worship is offered in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, where Christ is present in the beauty of holiness and the sacraments. Through good music, reflective preaching, and intelligent engagement with the scriptures, we hope to sustain and nourish people in the faith.
Christ himself welcomed people whatever their story, background or situation, so you will find a warm welcome at All Saints, whoever you are. Our principal act of worship is the Parish Eucharist (also called 'Mass' or 'Holy Communion'), celebrated by Christians throughout the world. Single people, couples, children and families are all welcome - there is a weekly Junior Church during term, and we have good number of children coming to church. Junior Church joins in the start of worship, before worshipping and playing together in the less formal setting of the Hall, before rejoining us again later. Parents and children always rejoin us for communion. The Church has a friendly and active social life, too, with regular events, lunches and parties, which celebrate both the local, national and liturgical high-points of the year. Our hall has been the venue for many plays, gigs and parties, from The Kinks to the Way of the Cross.
In church and beyond, we seek to be Christ's body here in this parish as best we can, and we are always eager for others to join us on that quest.
