About Us
St. Mary's is a small, vibrant congregation who enjoy a traditional service style - sometimes referred to as "high church" or "Anglo-Catholic". This means that we often use incense (traditionally used to symbolise our prayers rising to God) and sing mainly traditional hymns. Ours is the oldest church in Staines and is sited in the "Staines Village" area on Church Street, opposite the Bells pub.
We are part of the parish of St Mary and St Peter, Stainesaines, which includes St Peter's too, so sometimes we have combined services. Please check our website www.stmaryandstpeterstaines.co.uk for details of service times.
