We have an active and well-attended Sunday School with children ranging from 4 to 10 years old. Activities are planned to follow the church year. The Sunday School leaders have all received safeguarding training and are DBS checked. Children start the Sunday service and then leave for their activities in the church hall. They return before the end of the service.

Safeguarding

In accordance with the Church of England Safeguarding Policy our church is committed to:

• Promoting a safer environment and culture.
• Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children, young people and vulnerable
adults within the church.
• Responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation.
• Caring pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected persons.
• Caring pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons.
• Responding to those that may pose a present risk to others.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Hilary Watson.

All Sunday School leaders, Churchwardens and PCC Members have completed Diocese of London safeguarding training appropriate to their role and have been DBS checked.
