Vacancy at Christ ChurchThe Revd Michael Burley retired as Vicar and left Christ Church on 31st March last year - since then the post has been vacant.The PCC are delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd James Bunyan. James is currently a curate at St. Michael’s Fulwell.He will be licensed to Christ Church in July. The date will be announced later.We look forward to welcoming James, his wife Lois and their two young daughters to Christ Church and to the community of Staines-upon-Thames.
Christ Church Hall is in Kenilworth Gardens (behind the church) and has two halls for hire.Lindo HallThe larger Lindo Hall measures approximately 10 x 15m, is accessible by wheelchair, including a disabled toilet, and has a large kitchen. It is suitable for regular meetings of groups and for parties (including small bouncy castles), wedding receptions and fairs. There are folding and rigid tables available, plus stacking chairs.Dickinson HallThe smaller Dickinson Hall can be accessed by a separate entrance at the rear of the main hall entrance and is suitable for smaller parties and meetings.
