St Nicholas

St Nicholas is the historic parish church of Chiswick in West London. We are an inclusive church, worshipping in the catholic tradition of the Church of England. You are assured of a warm welcome if you decide to come to one of our services.

The current church building dates largely from the 1880s though the tower is 15th century. There has been a Christian presence on the site for over 1000 years.

Our main act of worship is the Parish Mass on Sundays. We all gather to praise the Lord in words and music and to receive his help in Word and Sacrament.

St Nicholas celebrates the ministry of both men and women and lay people play an active role in our services which are generally led by our vicar, Fr Simon Brandes, or our associate vicar Reverend Eileen McGregor.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.
