In 1913 St Andrew’s church was built on Park Walk, Chelsea thanks to the generosity of the Sloane Stanley family (who gave the land) and local people who gave the equivalent of more than £600,000 for the building works. Read about our history. Now we need your generosity once more, as we seek to raise £100,000 for vital restoration work on part of the roof. The Grade II-listed building serves our community as a beautiful place of worship as well as hosting an excellent pre-prep school, a venue for children’s parties, toddler and children’s groups, weddings, funerals and other special events. We would love your help to restore the roof and ensure St Andrew’s continues to serve our community for the next generation. As a local parish church St Andrew’s receives no funding from the Church of England for such maintenance works. We therefore rely on the generosity of our supporters to ensure this building can continue to serve our community. Please donate at: https://www.standrewschelsea.org/giving#roof
