About Us

The Parish of Christ & St John with St Luke is the Anglican parish on the Isle of Dogs. Our church, Christ Church is at the bottom of the island on Manchester Road. The congregation comes from many traditions and denominations and reflect the diversity of the Island's changing population. The focal point of our life together as a Christian community is the Parish Mass and you would be most welcome to join with us.

We are one of the parishes that comprise the Tower Hamlets Deanery which is part of the Stepney Episcopal Area.

Our Vision is to be a Holy People who rejoice to call God 'Father' and worship and serve him; who enjoy the presence and friendship of Christ and who are filled to overflowing with the Spirit's abundance.
