We were delighted to welcome Jay Blades of 'The Repair Shop' to St Jude's Community Drop-in on Thursday 31st January. Jay joined chef Carlene Bagot to prepare and serve a hot lunch of beef curry and veg curry. We were very grateful for his help and many of us enjoyed meeting him.The St Jude's Community Drop-In is open every Tuesday 12pm-3pm with hot food and refreshments served in a warm space with friendly people to talk with; a free library and some second hand clothes are available. People living in the local community can also access a food bank run by the Newington Green Action Group.
Following a visit from Teri Milewska, Registered & Compliance Manager to St Jude's Church on 21st August, the Rev James Hill and John Tasker visited the Mildmay Mission Hospital on 9th November to develop our partnership. Click here for more details.
