About Us

St John’s is the parish church of the Hackney bit of Finsbury Park.  

Everyone is welcome at St John’s, regardless of age, gender, colour, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.  Likewise, whether you are a regular churchgoer, lapsed Christian, or nervous enquirer, we hope you will find a warm welcome here.

Our worship, which is in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, is traditional, yet relaxed and accessible.  There’s normally a Sunday School available for children, and refreshments are served afterwards.
