All Saints Church (Sunday Eucharist weekly 11am), is a Grade 2 listed building
which was built between 1855 and 1856. The architect was Philip Hardwick the
Younger. Gallery extensions designed by T E Knightley, were added to accommodate
the growing congregation. Today the area around All Saints, is heavily populated with
people of diverse ethnicities (and this diversity is reflected in the church). The church
is in a Conservation Area and has a War Memorial on the grounds at the West End.
The congregation has been described as warm and friendly and the worship vibrant.
In 1998, it became a United Benefice with Holy Trinity with St Philip, Dalston.
Services are usually at 11.00am – (We sometimes have a
joint Sunday morning service at 10.15am, when we do, there is usually no morning
service at the other church [please see calendar for dates and location of joint
services]).
