The Parish of St Barnabas Homerton is an Anglican parish (Church of England) based in Homerton and Clapton Park in Hackney, East London.

Previously known as the Hackney Marsh Team Ministry, in November 2019 the parish changed its name and status to the single Parish of St Barnabas Homerton.

(The Church of The Risen Christ is the new name for the merged congregations of The Risen Christ & All Souls, Clapton Park and Christchurch-on-the-Mead (which previously met at the Wally Foster Community Centre).

The Church of the Risen Christ, located on Overbury Street in Lower Clapton, is a diverse and dynamic church committed to bringing HOPE and renewal to the Clapton Park.

As part of SAINT we work to restore lives, revitalise churches, and renew culture across East London, inspired by Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

We as a church want to: serve young people, train diverse leaders, and plant churches in collaboration with others. Guided by our DNA of HOPE—Honour, Openness, Proximity, and Empowerment—we honour God and one another, welcome everyone as they are, remain rooted in our local community, and empower creative leadership to share the transformative hope of Christ.
