Opening
The Church is usually open from 11:00 until 15:00, from Monday to Thursday, and other times by appointment. There is usually a short midweek service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer on Wednesdays at 12:30, and an organ recital on Tuesdays at 12:30. There is an excellent coffee cart just outside the church in Abchurch Yard which open from early morning until mid-afternoon on most weekdays.
Getting here
St Mary Abchurch stands in Abchurch Yard, the former churchyard, facing narrow Abchurch Lane, which runs north from Cannon Street to King William Street. Sherborne Lane approaches along the west side, from King William Street into Abchurch Yard. The nearest London Underground stations are Bank (Central and Northern lines) and Cannon Street (Circle and District lines), with commuter rail services from Cannon Street Station. A number of buses run nearby, along Cannon Street and through Bank. The church is a short walk from London Bridge and Southwark Bridge.
