Welcome to St James Garlickhythe.
We are a parish church in the heart of the City of London - disciples of Jesus Christ, dedicated to serving all people.
Known as 'Wren's Lantern', St James is a beacon of traditional Prayer Book worship, services being drawn from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, with readings from the King James Bible.
The principal Sunday service is the 1030am Sung Eucharist, which is accompanied by choral music and is followed by refreshments. There are also shorter said Eucharists from Wednesday to Friday at 1230pm.
The tower houses the Royal Jubilee Bells, cast for the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and welcomes many ringers from around the world.
Join us: you'll be warmly welcomed!
