Amidst the whirl of excitement of Christmas morning, take time to reflect on the wonder and hope that the birth of Christ brings to us all.

Christmas morning with its stockings, presents, and the burgeoning aromas of a wonderful Christmas dinner can be the most exciting and hectic of the year, but it is so important that we take the time to reflect on what it is that we are celebrating.

Our Family Communion Service at 11:00am on Christmas Day is an integral part of the Christmas festivities for many of our congregation members and visitors, as we celebrate the coming of the Prince of Peace and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Music for the Eucharist will be the Communion Service in F by Harold Darke, who was organist of St Michael’s Church, Cornhill in the City for many years – this has become one of the best-loved of all English language settings of these texts.

Carols sung during the administration of communion are traditionally chosen by the choir at the last minute, so it might be worth putting in a request for your particular favourite!

The service is open to all and free to attend. Registration is not required.
