after asking on face book for toys for our creche as the old ones were looking a bit tired, we were contacted by louise atherton from wigan council saying they could supply toys and games, some brand new that were going into landfill. after meeting louise  she asked us if they could donate childrens bikes that were being thrown away  as well some hardly used to put back into the community. we took delivery of about 13 bikes and games plus toys, and the response was great, after a few weeks of people coming to our church picking out a bike for their child we only have about 4 left , thanks to louise and tracy from the enviroment & economy wigan council .
