This service is for Remembering the fallen heroes of our local area.
Names from Memorial Plaques within the Church Building will be read.
Our Youth Groups will be parading after the service, weather permitting, down Atherton Road to 12th Wigan Boys Brigade Hut on Thomas Street

St. John's Church, Hindley Green

As well as seven youth organisations there are adult fellowship groups endeavouring to bring a larger number of people to know Jesus. There are close links with the local primary schools and the children are welcomed into church several times a term. There is a willingness to forge ever-greater unity with all the worshipping communities within Chapelfields and across Church Wigan and a desire to celebrate the gift of life spiritually and socially.
