All Saints Church, Hindley

All Saints is the historic mother church in the Hindley area dating back to 1641. It is traditional in style, situated in the middle of a deprived housing estate and across from The Banner pub with whom we have started working with as part of our outreach and mission programme. All Saints has great links with the schools in the area and with two Brownie and one Beaver/Scout group.

BY THIS SHALL ALL PEOPLE KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

All Saints Church takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England's robust procedures and guidelines.

Safeguarding

The parish of Wigan East is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA: https://liverpoolcofe.org/safeguarding-matters/. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
