St Paul, Goose Green

St Paul’s Church is an evangelical fellowship open to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit within its overall life, ministry and mission.

Our worship is varied, from the traditional style of our Holy Communion, Book of Common Prayer, to the informal service of worship aimed toward the whole family.

We aim to enable discipleship to take place through house groups, preaching and teaching throughout all ages.

St Paul’s Church is a welcoming fellowship whose hope is to help people explore the reality of the Lord Jesus Christ and to grow, develop and mature in their Christian faith in relationship with each other and with God as Our Father.

Safeguarding

The parish of Wigan West is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA: https://liverpool.anglican.org/safeguarding-matters/. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
