St Aidan's, Billinge

St Aidan’s Church ministers in an historic listed building and has a vision to reach out to serve the whole range of our community in Billinge.

We offer a warm welcome to all our services and events. We have two traditional worship services monthly, other services have more contemporary language and Sta’s4all and Beacon are aimed at our children, younger families and congregations enjoying contemporary worship.

Through worship and midweek activities we seek to develop discipleship, to show and share Christ-like love, building relationships with the community around us. We have strong links with our Church Primary School.

Safeguarding

The parish of Wigan South is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA: https://liverpool.anglican.org/safeguarding-matters/. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
