The Ukrainian Community are holding a service here in church to mark the 3rd anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine on Sunday 23rd February at12.15p.m in Newchurch.
The service will last about 30 minutes and will be in English and Ukrainian.
Members of the Ukrainian Family Hub will walk from the Daten to the church leaving at 12 noon
All are welcome to attend this service to show support to the Ukrainian community and to share their sadness and their hopes.
Everyone in the congregation is invited to the Ukrainian Hub (The Daten) for refreshments after the service

St Oswald's

St Oswald's is a friendly church and we would love to welcome you. The church building stands at the centre of the village of Winwick on raised ground, welcoming all who pass through. There is evidence that the Christian faith has been here for over 1,000 years and continues today. The Church building is mentioned in the Domesday Book and the church is an integral part of the area's history and community.

On the 29/02/2024, Reverend Martin Cox was appointed Priest-in-Charge at St. Oswald’s Church, Winwick, plus Rector of Christ Church, Croft and Newchurch Parish Church, Culcheth.

Sunday 2nd March, 10:30am - Joint Holy Communion at Christ Church, Croft.

Sunday 9th March, 10.30 am - Holy Communion - led by Rev Martin Cox.

Sunday 16th March, 9.00am - Said Holy Communion - led by Rev Martin 

Sunday 23rd March, 10.30am - Holy Communion - led by Rev Alan Litton

Sunday 30th March, 10.30am - Mothering Sunday - Morning Worship by Katy Berry. 

Unless otherwise stated services will be at St. Oswald’s Church, Winwick.
