Baptisms, also known as Christenings, are conducted during our Sunday morning service. Before your child's baptism, you will be expected to attend one preparation session, which will give you an introduction to the Christian faith, and let you know what to expect at the service. It will also give you a chance to get to know the leadership team at St Helen's.
Baptism is a joyful occasion, when we not only thank God for the presence of a child in our lives, but welcome them into the family of the Church. To find out more about baptism in the Church of England, why not visit the webpage dedicated to them at :

Adults who come to faith later in life may also be baptised, as long as they were not baptised as a child. Please ask Bob our vicar about this.
To talk to Alan Domville or Ray Shaw about Baptism then call personally to Church after our 9.30 Sunday Worship. If you find these times difficult then contact Alan on 0161 775 9360 or Ray on 0161 775 3374
