We’ve been hearing the phrase ‘Church for a different world’ for sometime and now it is a stark reality. Another phrase that springs to mind is this- the building is closed but church is not closed. When two or three gather in my name.....  but those meetings are banned.

Lots of my colleagues are running virtual church sessions Online. A lot of our congregation are elderly and not online so I’ve tried to get the message out that they can pray at 9.30am with me as I read morning prayer. I’m also ringing people. Even if it is a short call it seems to be appreciated. 

Let us hold on to the things we know to be true. And try to encourage one another in these strange days. Our God reigns x
