About Us

St John's Widnes is a friendly, open parish church. The worship area is modern, and is part of a Church Centre which is used by church and community groups all through the week. We have a modern music group for most of our services, although the traditional Church Organ is used occasionly.The mission of the church is to be a centre for worship, pastoral care and evangelism. In addition to Sunday worship, there os also a midweek praise and prayer service on Thursday's 8.00pm to 9.00pm, also on Thursday's we have our Oasis Cafe which is open from 10.00am to 2.00pm, this is very much a "Drop in Place" with coffe,tea and cakes on tap.

   St John's is now a part of the East Widnes Team of Churches..
