Accessibility
Changing facilities are available in the accessible loo!
Nearby multi-storey car park off Bridge Street and disabled parking is available in Chalon Way.
We have a defibrillator in the church kitchen and one on the wall of the church, on the right hand side of the main front doors.
The entrance is one level, although (currently!) slightly uneven. People are available to help if needed
Welcome in church and halls
Most of the church is on one level, ramps are in place to access the chapel and choir vestry and can easily be put in place to go into the nave.
Our Building
You are very welcome to spend some time in prayer in the church whenever the doors are open (apart from Tuesday mornings during school term time when our Tots & Tinies playgroup takes place at the back of the church).
We are proud to have our eco church bronze certificate, and are working towards our silver!
Grade II listed
We have a learning and resource area at the front of the church. Anyone is welcome to spend time reading and reflecting here.
Music and Worship
We have a peal of 8 bells. Whilst we currently to not have a team of ringers here, visiting towers are welcome to come and ring. Just contact the office on 01744 22909.

A beautiful Harrison & Harrison organ, installed in 1926.
We have a worship group who play at least monthly.
Groups, Courses and Activities
St Helens Mothers Union meets on the last Thursday of every month at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
Tots & Tinies playgroup is held each Tuesday of school term time from 9.15am to 11.15am.
Help for Visitors
Our Visitors Guide is available on the table in the foyer.
Each Tuesday from 1.00-3.00pm Hot & cold drinks, snacks and delicious cakes!
Church is open for Morning Prayer at 9.30am Monday - Friday
We are then open until 2.00pm every day for visitors - come along and say hi!
Other Features
We are delighted to be a fairtrade church.
Held in the Parish Church Hall each Thursday from 11.00am to 2.00pm.
Please note the Foodbank is not run by St Helens Parish Church so any enquiries must be directed to the Foodbank team on 01744 26414.
