St Paul's, Blackbrook

St Paul’s is a family oriented church. We are a welcoming community of Christians with a passion for serving our local area.

We are part of the larger parish of Church St Helens which is a group of 11 Church of England churches who have chosen to work together with the common aim of renewing hope in communities across St Helens. We believe that more Jesus means more justice, and that a bigger church can make a bigger difference.

Our worship is informal and we have monthly all-age services. Our worship space is bright and accessible with a dedicated space for children. Our building is multi-purpose, working alongside St Paul’s Preschool, Tiddlers and other groups who use the space.

We’d love to see you at our services and events. There will be a brew waiting for you.

Here is a prayer that is used at Parochial Meetings of Church St Helens

“Lord, we come to you in faith, confident of your love for us and all your world, we ask for renewed hope.

We ask for your wisdom, guidance and grace for Church St Helens.  We seek your blessing on our mission and ministry; that we would see more people meet Jesus, deeper discipleship, growth in leadership and more justice in all of St Helens and especially the communities served by All Saints, St Andrew's, Christ Church, St David's, St Helen, St Michael's, The Mount, St Nicholas, St Paul's, St Philip's and St Thomas.

May the hope of the risen Christ dwell in us and grow through us, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Amen.”

Safeguarding

Our parish of Blackbrook St. Paul is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor via the link below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
