Ahead of this week's ordinations service at Liverpool Cathedral, Bishop John Perumbalath has shared a message. This will be Bishop John's first ordinations service at the diocese, since his enthronement in April.“I am very much looking forward to my first ordinations in the Diocese of Liverpool. The deacons who will be standing before me have given so much to the service of God and it is a privilege to be with them as they embark on their next steps. I look forward to welcoming them into the college of priests in the majestic, holy surrounding of Liverpool Cathedral.I pray that they, their families and congregations will hear the words Come Holy Spirit as a continuing and empowering call on their lives. May they be guided and shaped by God’s love as they continue to fulfil his call.”We ask you all to join us in praying for: Julie Butcher - Holy Trinity Formby and St Michael and All Angels, AltcarBecca Cottrell - Christ Church Norris Green in West Derby Fit for MissionJerome Daniels - St James in the City Debs Davies - Liverpool Cathedral Gill Fenton - St Helens Town Centre Team in St Helens Fit for MissionLizzy Ferguson - St Paul SkelmersdalePaul Givens - Up Holland and DaltonCatherine Jacobs - St Aidan and All Saints Speke Rebecca Lloyd - Warrington West and Chaplain at LHUFTLaura Neilson - St John Burscough BridgeFrances Nunn - St Helens Town Centre Team in St Helens Fit for Mission Mark Orrell - Parr Team in St Helens Fit for MissionPhilippa Shaw - St Ann Warrington and St Andrew Orford
