During the Pentecost weekend, we will be hosting several events / services alongside other churches in our cluster to promote praying, working and having fun together. This will also include our church schools. Our time of prayer begins on Thursday morning at our local CE primary schools, and a 7 pm Taize service at St. Michael’s Aughton to launch our 24 hours of prayer. If you’re unable to access the link, contact Gail at the church office, and she will add your name to the list, our 24 hours of prayer will be about discerning God’s plan for the churches in our cluster regarding the way forward with Fit for Mission.
On Friday, May 26 at 8 pm, we will be hosting a prayer and praise event at Christ Church Aughton to enable all four churches to come together to pray and worship.

On Saturday May 28th, Christ Church will be open for private prayer 10:00 - 4:00 pm. St. Michael’s is organizing a bike ride, and St. James Westhead is arranging a dog walk around Ruff Woods.

On Sunday, May 28, Christ Church will host two services. A 9.00 am Holy Communion Service, and a joint All-age Family Service with St. James Westhead at 10:45 am.

Pentecost is a major feast of the Church's year when Christians recall how God's Holy Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus' ascension, empowering them to begin the work of making disciples of all nations.
