Process to appoint new vicar: Following Rev’d Sarah O’Donoghue’s recent move to the Diocese of Blackburn, we recently conducted two surveys about the qualities of a new Vicar. Thank you to those who completed these surveys. The results  are included in a Parish Profile which will be used to advertise the vacant vicar position.  You can view a copy of the Parish Profile, here

Advance Notice of Electoral Roll Enrolment in 2025: To ensure we have an accurate list of church members at Christ Church Aughton, we will be creating a new Electoral Roll in 2025 to replace the current one. More information about how to enrol in the new Roll will be provided in February 2025. Enrolled church members will be eligible to vote at the next Annual Parochial Church Meeting in April 2025.

We encourage you to join us for a short service of Morning Prayer, Monday to Thursday, at 9.15 am. Participants meet in the Upper Room at the Ministry Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on Facebook and Zoom Monday - Thursday. A recording of Morning Prayer is also available to watch on Facebook after each service.

We have now finalized a Parish Profile that will be used to advertise the vacant Vicar role. This profile includes the results of two short surveys recently completed with the church congregation and local community.
