A community wellbeing cafe that serves the local community, with a special focus on the well-being of all of Croxteth Park!
A place2B sad, Aplace2b happy, APlace2 feel safe and make friends. A place2 come and be loved. We serve food and drink, free of charge (donations welcome) and provide crafts, board games, Mindfulness colouring sheets, as well as Knit and natter on different tables as well as just a plain conversation table. We also make ECO bags to help keep our community clean and away from plastic if you wish to do that.
We have people on hand if you need to talk who are trained in mental health and a councillor too and we will certainly be able to signpost you to our pastoral support team and services available wider in the community. Many just come for the company and the laughter and you only need to engage in/ or with someone when you want to.
Some weeks we have entertainment, from Ukulele singers to Karaoke however this has stopped since covid. We regularly have the digital learning bus again not available since Covid and also the PCSOs come to once a month to join us and help solve any crime issues in the area. We are open to all the lonely, the bereaved, the young mum on her own, the crafters, the gamers, knitters, those who just want to be in the presence of people. We believe in generous hospitality and run on donations only. So come along we will welcome you with a smile.
