HERITAGE WEEKENDS AT SEFTON 2024
We were open for 6 days over two weekends in September and 440 visitors took the opportunity to have a look around our amazing grade 1 listed church and/or were entertained by the MadUkes when we were treated to a delicious Burger in the interval from Hannah and Mark on the BBQ. Many generous people purchased items from our church shop, had a “cuppa” in the cafe or donated to the upkeep of this historic “Cathedral of the Fields”. We managed to raise an amazing £1364.94 for our church funds.
On the first Friday morning the Year 6 children of St Oswald's Primary School spent the morning with us doing crafts and following the Heritage Trail. They were so enthusiastic and well behaved – it was a pleasure to have them visit us again at Sefton Church.
On both Saturdays our Sefton Bell Ringers generously gave their time to allow people to “have a go”!
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED.
TO THE SMALL BUT WONDERFUL TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS - WE COULDN’T HAVE MANAGED WITHOUT YOUR HELP.
