A WARM WELCOME: awaits you to all our services and activities throughout the week and the year.
WORSHIP: Sundays at 8.30am and 10.30am. Mid-week: Wednesdays Eucharist 10.15am. Thursdays Prayer Service at 9.05am
ACTIVITIES: We offer a wide range of activities for all ages, children, youth and adults. Uniformed groups are thriving.
MUSIC: Our musical traditions includes an annual week-long Music Festval starting at the end of each June, seasonal concerts venues and wonderful church music each Sunday, led most weeks by the choir. Our much admired Norman and Beard church organ can be heard each Sunday played by our excellent Director of Music and Organist, Michael Foy. Mike also directs the St. Nicholas Singers, our community choir, whose concert starts the music festival. (no audition necessary)
CHURCH SCHOOL: St. Nicholas C of E Primary School
HERITAGE: The Grade II Listed Church Building has much to offer: a memorial stained glass rose window with accompanying side windows, commemorating WW1; many sother stained glass windows, including one by Charles Kemp, and many more features to enjoy. We are now implementing our Phase 3 Resotration Project funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund and many other generous donors.
CHURCH HALLS: The large and small halls are well used and provide a much needed community facilitiies for a number of local groups.
