Why not come and enjoy an evening at Bucknall Village Hall's popular cash bingo. With amazing cash prizes, this not-for-profit bingo is a great social event, plus there's a raffle which raises money for our church and Men's Shed too.
The prize value vary depending on the attendance, but has been known to be as much as £250 for the final 'big' game of the evening!

Entrance is 50p, and it's £10 for a full book, of £5 for half. Refreshments are served - you're welcome to make a donation which will go to our great causes.

Come and show off your skills at our monthly fundraising quiz night. With prizes to be won, plus a raffle, there will be prizes for the winning team, and you'll be raising funds for St. Margaret's Church too.
The quiz generally consists of 6 rounds. There's a 'Beat the Quizmaster' game too (£1 extra per person) - get one difficult question correct and you could win the prize fund, or a share of it if more than one person gets the question right.

Teams of up to 6 people, and just £2 per person. The doors open at 6.30pm with the quiz starting at 7pm. Bring your own drinks if you'd like. Refreshments are also served during a half-way break!

By kind permission of the Churchwarden, Mrs Sheila Mullenger, Holy Trinity Church, Tattershall, will once again host its annual Bat Talk and Bat Watch on Friday 28 August 2026, led by members of the Lincolnshire Bat Group.

Come and see the church’s bats as they emerge from their daytime roost and carefully navigate their way out of the building to begin their night’s hunting. Infrared cameras will provide close-up views of the bats inside the church, while bat detectors will allow visitors to hear their remarkable echolocation calls.

The evening begins at 7.45pm, with doors opening at 7pm, and is expected to finish at approximately 9pm.

St Peter's is holding another concert, this time featuring the community choir, Countryside Chorus. They sing a range of music, including folk style, and will be performing the internationally performed, 'Drink Good Ale (A Stixwould Harvest Song)'.
It will be held in the church on Friday 4th of September at 7pm. It's a free event, with donations gratefully accepted for the upkeep of the church.
There'll be refreshments served too, and a raffle (any prizes would be gratefully accepted). All welcome!

This year's Harvest Festival service will be led by the churchwardens, held at All Saints' Church on Sunday the 6th of September at 6pm.
All are welcome to attend this family-friendly service. This year's Combined Harvest Supper will be held at Bucknall Village Hall on Sunday 13th September at 5pm.

If you would like to provide any produce to display in the church (which will be auctioned off later in the evening), please contact one of the churchwardens.

This year's harvest supper will be followed by tea/coffee (bring your own cold drinks!). Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options will be available too - we'll need to know any dietary requirements when you book your ticket.
