All Saints' Church roof is notoriously troublesome, even for a relatively young church building. The design of the tower means there's an area of flat roof behind it which is difficult to access and the detritus from the roof is brought down into it. This has caused some build up over the years and the flat section has failed, leading to the wood timbers rotting and water getting into the church above the area of the organ. We have given the go ahead for the affected area to be repaired - at quite a significant cost (around £5,500-£6,500 exc. VAT). We hope this work will be carried out over the next few months and make a significant improvement to the building. There are still other areas of the roof which need repair, as well as interior work too, but we hope these works will be a step in the right direction at helping preserve All Saints' Church. To make a donation, you can use the link on the main page or go to our GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/ba2db658
