Bucknall Village Hall has two coffee mornings each week - Monday and Wednesday, 9.30 to 11am. Anyone is welcome, from the village or further afield! It's just £1, which gets you a couple of drinks and the cake or biscuit of the week!

Monday's Community Hub raises funds for St. Margaret's Church (Wednesday's raises funds for Bucknall Village Hall).

The Hubs are a great way to meet people, have a chat, or use our book exchange. You can come as often as you like, and they are drop-in mornings, so come whenever!

Come and show off your skills at our monthly fundraising quiz night. With prizes to be won, plus a raffle, there will be prizes for the winning team, and you'll be raising funds for St. Margaret's Church too.
The quiz generally consists of 6 rounds. There's a 'Beat the Quizmaster' game too (£1 extra per person) - get one difficult question correct and you could win the prize fund, or a share of it if more than one person gets the question right.

Whether you're from Bucknall, or further afield, why not come along and see how brainy you are?!

Teams of up to 6 people, and just £2 per person. The doors open at 6.30pm with the quiz starting at 7pm. Bring your own drinks if you'd like. Refreshments are also served during a half-way break!

There is a service of Choral Holy Communion on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month with Revd Sall or invited priests in St Peter's Woodhall Spa. On the first Sunday of the month there is a service of Choral Morning Prayer with ALM Paul Brewster. The other 5 churches may have a Service of Holy Communion once a month, and either Morning Praise with the church wardens or Morning Prayer with our Reader Maggie Townend, or ALM Paul Brewster. Why not come and enjoy an evening at Bucknall Village Hall's popular cash bingo. With amazing cash prizes, this not-for-profit bingo is a great social event, plus there's a raffle which raises money for our church and Men's Shed too.
The prize value vary depending on the attendance, but has been known to be as much as £250 for the final 'big' game of the evening!

Entrance is 50p, and it's £10 for a full book, of £5 for half. Refreshments are served - you're welcome to make a donation which will go to our great causes.

St Peter's is holding another concert, this time featuring the community choir, Countryside Chorus. They sing a range of music, including folk style, and will be performing the internationally performed, 'Drink Good Ale (A Stixwould Harvest Song)'.
It will be held in the church on Friday 4th of September at 7pm. It's a free event, with donations gratefully accepted for the upkeep of the church.
There'll be refreshments served too, and a raffle (any prizes would be gratefully accepted). All welcome!

This year's Harvest Festival service will be led by the churchwardens, held at All Saints' Church on Sunday the 6th of September at 6pm.
All are welcome to attend this family-friendly service. This year's Combined Harvest Supper will be held at Bucknall Village Hall on Sunday 13th September at 5pm.

If you would like to provide any produce to display in the church (which will be auctioned off later in the evening), please contact one of the churchwardens.

This year's harvest supper will be followed by tea/coffee (bring your own cold drinks!). Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options will be available too - we'll need to know any dietary requirements when you book your ticket.
