Our Building
Church designed and built by Revd. Scott, father of famous architect George Gilbert-Scott and grandfather of the designer of the iconic red telephone box. (We have one on Main Street, bought by the WI and now used as a library!)
Music and Worship
We hold regular, very well-supported building fund-raising concerts….from Beatles Tribute band to folk groups and singers - sometimes with refreshments or BYO.
We have an organ but no organist at the moment. Music is from iPad
Every fourth Sunday at 10.30 and shared communion with our other three parish churches four times a year.
Groups, Courses and Activities
We run regular Bible Study groups in private house.
Help for Visitors
There is a History of Gawcott Church” booklet available in the church
Every Monday from 1-2 p.m. we hold a Village Lunch where we serve a choice of two home-made soups, rolls, toasted cheese sandwiches, tea/coffee. There is no charge but we are always grateful for any contributions. We have 5-star Food Safety Award.

The church is open on Mondays from 12-3, Sunday mornings and at various times during the week. If you wish to visit the church when it is closed please contact Sue Ambrose (01280813346) who has a key and can open it for you
