St Hugh's Church

You are very welcome to St Hugh's Church, serving the West Marsh area of Grimsby. We have a Fellowship Group which meets every Sunday at 9:30 am for approximately 30 minutes, with exception to the 3rd Sunday. This is a Sunday Eucharist, with hymns which lasts around 45 minutes.  Refreshments are served every week.

The parish of Grimsby: St Mary & St James and St Hugh is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Dr Tim Bruning. Safeguarding concerns may be passed to him on 07471 659485, or via email; [email protected]. Alternatively, concerns can be directed as a matter of urgency to the Diocese of Lincoln's Safeguarding Team, to North East Lincolnshire Council, or to the Police.
