Our lent group meets at Hogsthorpe Village Hall, in the Meeting Room, on each Wednesday afternoon at 2pm, during Lent. We open and close with a prayer. Those attending have chosen to give up their time to make things that can be given to those in need or sold to provide funds for those in need. Some people knit squares that are sewn into blankets, some knit or sew childrens clothes, one person makes bespoke coasters. Anyone and any craft activity is welcomed. While working together we enjoy fellowship and a hot drink and sometimes home made cake. We give our time and skills, rather than giving up a treat.
