Hopefully we have kept the good things and have introduced some new ones too. We have retained the concept that we gather together for fellowship and a hot drink while we work at a craft project that can be donated to a good cause. Last year some of us knitted woollen squares, which were sewn into blankets. Others knitted children's hats or sewed clothes. If you have other skills or ideas then please do that. The new things are:- 1) A new venue, The Small Meeting Room in Hogsthorpe Village 2) We will open and close with a prayer from our New Year Prayer Collection 3)To defray costs we are asking for a donation of just £1.50 per session We will meet on Wednesday afternoons at 2pm for one hour on these dates 5th March, 12th March, 19th March, 26th March, 2nd April, 9th April Please do your best to come and bring other people. It hopefully will be an enjoyable experience to get out of our houses, meet with friends and make items that will help people in distress. Give your time and skills rather than give up something for Lent. CHAPEL & HOGSTHORPE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP & STUDY GROUP We are hoping to set up the above group meeting on a Friday afternoon in St Leonard Church Room. One format suggested is to sing some hymns and discuss the readings and prayers that will be used that coming Sunday, while enjoying a hot drink.
