This year we are following the Lincoln Diocese official Lent Course. This Lent Course is designed for individual and group study and is aimed at everyone regardless of depth of knowledge of the Christian Faith or for those just exploring.
It explores prayer through the lens of some of the simplest things we ever learn to say: please; wow; sorry; and ouch.
You will learn how each of these words opens up a different way of thinking about prayer, and different practical approaches to praying.
To be held in the Vicar's Rooms every Thursday during Lent at 2pm.

This is a collaboration between Barrow-on-Humber Anglicans and Methodists. It is a time to come together for good food (soup & a pudding), good company and good conversation in the Vicar's Rooms. It is open to everyone, those with faith and of none and is very much a wider community event. All we ask is for a monetary donation of your choice of which every penny goes to the essential work of UNICEF who are among the first to respond to humanitarian crises worldwide.
There will be a light 5 minute talk each week over a cup of tea and the theme this year is Religious Paintings, so you may also be able to learn something you never knew before.

The day during Holy Week that commemorates the Washing of the Feet (Maundy) and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles the day before His crucifixion.

A still, penitential and quiet service to remember Christ's sacrifice on the cross for man's salvation. It includes the Gospel account of the Lord's Passion and an optional silent hour before the cross at the end of the service.

This is the day for rejoicing, the day when our Lord Jesus Christ passed from death to
life. Throughout the world Christians join together to celebrate the awesome power of God. As we hear his word and proclaim all that God has done, we can be confident that we shall share his victory over death and live with him forever.
