The LFRCB are an award winning band whose concerts deliver a mixed variety of pieces to suit all tastes.

The band was formed in 2009 by the amalgamation of the Lincolnshire Concert Band with the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Brass Band. The band recognises that it is the public representation of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, and although band members are volunteers from all walks of life, they wear the uniform of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue with a great deal of pride.
In 1969 The City of Lincoln started a twinning with Neustadt an der Weinstrasse in Germany, and the band has also maintained a twinning with a Neustadt band for over 50 years now.
In 2016 the band progressed into a marching band so became able to take part with fellow bands at some very high profile events including The Armistice Day Ceremonies at The Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium and Parades through Central London for The National Firefighters Memorial Days. They also perform at Lincolnshire Show every year in The Main Ring.
